Democratic Party MP, Saimir Korreshi, has raised in the Assembly a number of concerns related to the state of infrastructure, agriculture, and the livelihoods of citizens in Lushnja and surrounding areas.
Korreshi criticized the lack of investment in roads, hospitals, and the energy system, while calling for a reduction in the price of oil for farmers and citizens.
In ironic tones, the Democrat MP said that the government should focus on the real problems of citizens.
"What is the government protecting us from, Iran? Give us a pair of slingshots so we can kill a sparrow and eat bread," said Korreshi.
He also focused on the road infrastructure in the Lushnja area, emphasizing that minimal interventions are needed to avoid accidents and improve traffic.
"A shovel of lek is enough to make the driver's rest stop and the Sava crossing. The entire south is saved ," declared the MP.
Korreshi also criticized policies towards agriculture and the increase in fuel prices, while mocking government subsidies and investments.
In his speech, the MP also raised concerns about pensions, the cleaning of drainage channels in Myzeqe, and the state of the energy network in the area.
