Everyone knows that this commission will be used to punish anyone who does not suit the government. This commission can easily claim that "X" news is sponsored by Russia and take measures against a certain portal. Citizens' speech on social networks will also be limited.
" The Special Commission must identify administrative measures and possible interventions by amending or supplementing the legislation in force to address the solution of the identified problems, especially in terms of increasing the responsibility of platforms and social media to classify news/information content that are distributed by robots, reviewing the algorithms in order to make as transparent as possible the factors on which they are based to display, prioritize, distribute, or remove the content of the news/information, as well as without infringing the freedom of expression, to close accounts of persons/entities that engage in coordinated inauthentic online behavior or illegal activities aimed at systematically undermining democratic processes or inciting hate speech ," the proposal states.
If we look at international reports on Russian influence, Albania is not mentioned in any of them. In the entire region, the only country that has been immune to Russian influence has been Albania.
