"Rama doesn't know how to make choices", Tabaku: Democrats have

Jorida Tabaku, a candidate on the open list of the Tirana District for the 'Greater Albania Alliance' coalition led by Sali Berisha, has described the May 11 process as one of the most irregular she has seen.

For the show 'Log.' on News24 from the vote counting site at the "Hoxha Tahsim" school in Tirana, where she is monitoring the process, Tabaku said that although in an unequal race, with many challenges as a woman on the open list, campaigning in 5 municipalities of the capital, she thanks the Democrats who have monitored the elections and are remaining stoic in the counting centers awaiting the final results.

"I thank the opposition people who are monitoring the elections, even though the DP is losing. Secondly, as far as the candidates' votes are concerned, it is scattered, as this process has produced an unpredictable situation, a tendency is observed but we cannot predict it.

It was an unequal race, both in terms of the opponent and the way it was conducted. Being on an open list, being a woman and campaigning in 5 municipalities in the Tirana district is exhausting. I will wait until the end to make my comments.

"These elections show a lot about the fact that Albania, even though it has opened negotiations, does not know how to make elections. There are internal factors, the most irregular processes that I have noticed. The message I have today is about the sacrifice of the democrats, even after 12 years in opposition," she said.
