Deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, has stated that corruption is not fought with those who have been involved in corrupt affairs.
In a video message on her social networks, Tabaku said that the government has defended corruption and has attacked anyone who has criticized the latter and revealed corrupt affairs in concessions and PPP.
"Today, corruption has become endemic, in every cell of society, whether at the central or local level. In the bloc, the government has mastered every corrupt affair, every concession contract, but also every individual involved. But can these who have become shields of corruption for years be the solution to the situation Albania is in today? The fight against corruption should have become a national priority years ago. And not what is being done today as an alibi to get out of the situation they are immersed in. Could the medicine to cure a disease be the one that caused the disease? This of course has to happen differently, with a new mindset, with a new idea, with a new vision but also with a new team. With these people who have been involved in corrupt affairs where they have become a cover for corruption, we definitely cannot fight it, even for the integration process" , said the DP deputy.
