DP MP Dhurata Çupi commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's speech at the meeting of the SP group.
Çupi emphasized that Rama tries to manipulate public opinion with bombastic statements. According to her, the prime minister represents the most corrupt government in pluralism, as he makes propaganda for the fight against corruption.
Çupi said that it is a pity that Albania today, thanks to this government, is among the most corrupt countries in Europe and beyond. She emphasized that in the 11 years of Rama's government, 10 billion euros were stolen.
As for SPAK, Çupi said that he has confidence and that the DP has filed complaints in this structure.
"The communication was from an irresponsible politician. The prime minister has been leading the country for 11 years and the National Security Council has published data that Rama's government has stolen 10 billion euros, which is equal to the three-year budget. Edi Rama speaks at length to say that the fish stinks from the tail, but Albanians know that the fish stinks from the head.
Albania is one of the most corrupt countries in international reports. Rama knows corruption, because he has been told that corruption is rampant in his governance. The Prime Minister looks like he's making fun of the Albanians. Edi Rama is trying to manipulate public opinion with these statements. No one believes that the prime minister is honest and the others are corrupt. We, as PD, believe in SPAK and have made our denunciations.
Even Rama's reaching out to the opposition is insincere, because the prime minister does not care about the opposition. Rama does not accept interpellation, when the opposition demands it. Rama makes propaganda with the fight against corruption when corruption is present everywhere. Rama makes propaganda with the opposition, when he does not respect it. This government has not made a road to complete it," she said.
