The SP must lead the country for many more years and we must keep this in mind.
This is the message that Edi Rama gave to the Socialists today at the SP Assembly.
According to which this political force should lead the country until 2050
"Leave the tales that in a democracy parties must be changed every 4 years to those who tell tales. It is not a sin, it is an obligation for us to see the SP at the top even in 2030 and in 2040 and in 2050. That is, for you to see it. Therefore, I invite you to evaluate it as a very serious obligation, a serious investment of all of you in the center and territory towards the Albania of another generation."
Prime Minister Edi Rama also proposed reforming parliamentary committees in the function, as he expressed it, of Albania's integration into the EU.
In his speech at the SP Assembly meeting, Rama presented the 11 permanent committees of the new legislature, of which 7 will be led by the majority and 4 by the opposition.
The Prime Minister is expected to announce the new government, while delivering a speech at the SP Assembly. Rama orders the Municipal Council to pave the way for elections in the Municipality of Tirana. Rama: We give our trust to Ogerta Manastirliu
"Today we have a mayor elected three times, convicted not for his duty as mayor. His conversations with his family members were also extracted from his prison phone. This does not happen in any democratic country. Dictatorship, no way. It is the most open and flagrant violation of abuse of office, on the part of those who should keep the investigations under control. Tirana has great and countless tasks, day and night. I do not take away any merit from the incumbent mayor for what she has done in these 7 months. I thank her for her dedication. But today we must make a political decision, to pave the way for elections for the mayor of Tirana. I think that Ogerta Manastirliu is the right person to lead the Municipality of Tirana," said Rama.
