Elisa Spiropali is dismissed, Rama appoints Niko Pelesh as the new Speaker of

Niko Peleshi will be the new Speaker of the Albanian Parliament in the new legislature. The decision was made public by Prime Minister Edi Rama at the meeting of the Socialist Party's National Assembly.

Rama said that Peleshi has the necessary experience to lead the Assembly. Peleshi has been part of the Albanian Parliament for 4 legislatures, while replacing Elisa Spiropali in this position.

Meanwhile, the deputy of Durrës, Klodiana Spahiu, has been proposed as the deputy speaker of the Parliament.
