Prime Minister Edi Rama from the Socialist Party National Assembly has also defined the structure of Parliament's work in the new legislature, while announcing not only the changes in the names of the Parliamentary Committees, but also the Assembly's work agenda.
After announcing the establishment of the Territorial Reform Commission and proposing to reduce the number of MPs from 140 to 101, Rama said that we will not waste time in establishing the Electoral Reform Commission.
"We will always be ready to listen to everyone out of respect for those who elected us, but not to expect anyone if they are not going to work for reforms."
"A special commission for electoral reform should be established that should address the OSCE recommendations, which should address the depoliticization of the electoral administration and the release of election results in an acceptable time," said Rama.
The Prime Minister described Albania's case in releasing the election results as unprecedented.
