Prime Minister Edi Rama has warned of another territorial division. Rama, from the Socialist Party's National Assembly, said that a commission will be established in the Assembly to draft the new reform.
This means that there will be a change in the number of local units (Municipalities) from the 61 that are there today, to fewer or more, depending on the proposals.
Rama said that other forces are also invited to this commission, but said that their arrival or engagement will not be waited for indefinitely.
"They are invited to come, to give their contributions, but this does not mean that we will wait or block work on this reform and other reforms, if the other parties do not want to come," Rama said.
