Prime Minister Edi Rama welcomed the President of the EC, Ursula von der Leyen, on the red carpet as part of the Berlin Process summit.

In her speech, the EC President said that the focus of this meeting is the economy of the Western Balkan countries, which want to move forward.

"This summit is being held for the first time and this conveys a powerful message. One of the main topics will be the economy, because we can always do better. For this we need reforms in the Western Balkans and those who have the will to reform will to get funding. It's an incentive for those who want to move forward," Von der Leyen said.
