Prime Minister Rama has rejected the news published in the Italian media about the postponement of the opening of immigrant centers in Albania, where the Italian counterpart was responsible. In a reaction on social networks, the head of the Albanian government denies having given an interview to the journalist of "La Repubblica", and says that he only talked in an atmosphere of friendship.
According to him, the title of the Italian newspaper "Rama rejects Meloni" does not coincide with the words he said to the Italian journalist.
" No, I did not change my mind and did not give an interview. I acted as an Albanian practicing our ancient religion of hospitality, the home of the Albanian and God and the host, offering coffee to friends who came from Italy to Tirana. We talked about many things in a beautiful atmosphere of friendship and of course also about the agreement and the history of illegal immigration from Albania to Italy, which the D'Alema government managed to put an end to with a lot of common sense and strategic foresight. He reiterates once again his position in favor of the immigrant agreement with Italy.
