The chairman of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, after leaving SPAK in a statement to journalists, said that he was at the prosecutor's office as a person who has knowledge of the case.
After being questioned by SPAK, Bardhi confirmed that the "Xibraka" file has been reopened.
'As you know, on March 29, after a public denunciation that I did everything, I denounced the suspected involvement of the prime minister's brother in the Xibraka affair, I handed it over to SPAK
I was informed by the leader as SPAK but also by the BKH investigators after submitting the information from my side, the file of Xibraka has been reopened, the investigation has been restarted to identify the persons who were described as unidentified persons in the file.
Today I reconfirmed the information with SPAK and the questioning session had only one question if I had anything to add.
I was in the capacity of the person who has knowledge of the matter. The predicate is the Hanover prosecutor's office.', he said.
Bardhi's denunciation of Olsi Rama
The "Xibraka" file was brought back to attention after the report that Bardhi claimed to have made against Olsi Rama a few months ago.
According to Bardhi, Olsi Rama is involved in the drug laboratory in Xibraka from the data of the TIMS system.
Bardhi has published documents that, according to him, prove that Olsi Rama was part of the Xibraka cocaine group and that he was together with members of the group Genci Xhixha, Ermal Hoxha and Gentian Gjonaj in the drug laboratory in Xibraka.
According to Bardhi, part of Xibraka's file are the passages that consider Olsi Rama as part of Xibraka's group as an "unidentified person" and who used a vehicle with license plate AA653DM, which was also used by other traffickers.
"The head of the organization that trafficked drugs from Albania to Germany was a friend of Olsi Rama. I am not here to throw mud as Edi Rama likes to call it. I am here to bring facts and circumstances that were never investigated. A procedure has been opened in the file to find his identity, which is considered in the file as "Unidentified Collaborator". In addition to the arrested persons, the police have decided to prosecute the "unidentified collaborator" for whom they say that other investigations were needed.
The drug laboratory in Xibraka
The "Xibraka" drug group was discovered in January 2015, during a police operation assisted by German police agents, where a record amount of 100 kg of cocaine was seized. The drugs were found in a warehouse in the village of Xibrakë, 10 km from the city of Elbasan.
Eight people were arrested in and near the drug warehouse, among them the head of the group Sajmir Batku, the nephew of former dictator Enver Hoxha, Ermal Hoxha and two Colombian citizens.
Genci Xhixha, who is known as the head of a powerful cocaine trafficking network in Europe and beyond, was declared wanted. The investigations started after the information forwarded by the German authorities on 17.12.2014, about cocaine trafficking from Albania to Germany./ Pamphlet
