Prime Minister Edi Rama has criticized prosecutor Olsi Dado, who signed the arrest warrant for Erion Veliaj. According to him, the figure that emerged that Veliaj's wife had purchased dresses and jewelry worth over 800 thousand euros was made public intentionally. He also said that the prosecutor exceeded the limits with witnesses.
" We have the right to demand evidence and we have the right to say that throwing this figure in the parliament is intentional, to exalt the measure that the old man is seeking. And on the other hand to create a situation where it is impossible to discuss. However, we will follow this process very carefully. I told you that I have become a careful follower because I have unintentionally found myself in conditions where I had to listen to some people of art. These are not the ones on those lists at all. They are people of art who have had a hand in the investigations or interviews with this prosecutor who I would really like to convince anyone with evidence. Maybe there is. But whether there is or not, the method is unacceptable ," said Rama.
