The head of the Parliamentary Group of the DP, Gazment Bardhi, started his speech in the floor of the Assembly with the rejection of Prime Minister Edi Rama on an interpellation related to the documentary published by the Italian media "Rai 3".
Bardhi said that with this rejection of the interpellation, the constitution is being violated, while he added that the Assembly should distance itself from Rama's behavior towards the Italian state media.
He added that the truths told about the prime minister's brother, Olsi Ramë, do not harm the image of Albania at all, since according to him the image of Olsi and the many Olses of Edi Rama, is not the image of Albania and Albanians.
Bardhi's full speech in the Assembly:
This Assembly today, also on behalf of the citizens we represent in this hall, must distance itself from the behavior of Edi Rama towards the Italian state media Rai 3, but above all they must distance themselves from the governing model that Edi Rama has built, a model that shames Albania .
The former adviser of Edi Rama, the former well-known Italian magistrate Mandoi, reaffirmed to us what we have said as the opposition every day, that members of the Albanian mafia, organized crime or drug traffickers have their representatives within the institutions and have perfect opportunities to condition their actions of the government. The truth does not embarrass Albania, dear colleagues, but it certainly embarrasses Edi Rama, which is why he has been hiding for a month. Telling the truth about Edi Ramës has nothing to do with the image of Albania and Albanians. The image of Ols and the many Ols of Edi Rama is not the image of Albania and Albanians.
The true image of Albania and Albanians are those honest citizens of this country, who are not involved in drug trafficking, who do not get rich through major corruption, who work honestly, despite the difficulties created by your 11-year misrule, who shine in every sector in Italy and every country in the world.
What is considered the government of a country that made those convicted of drug trafficking in Italy MPs, mayors and senior leaders in the public administration?
What is considered the government of a country that has the Minister of the Interior convicted of abuse of office because instead of fighting, he supported his family members involved in drug trafficking?
What is considered the government of a country where the Special Prosecutor's Office claims that it cannot cooperate with the State Police during actions against organized crime, because it turns out that senior leaders of the Police cooperate with organized crime?
What is considered the government of a country that the Prime Minister of the country according to the Belgian state media is mentioned in the file of international drug traffickers who are being investigated in Brussels as part of the SKY ECC interceptions?
What is considered the government of a country where the Prime Minister's brother uses the same vehicle used by the leaders of the construction organization of the Xibraka laboratory, the first cocaine laboratory in the country and the largest in the Balkans?
The answer was given with courage, professionalism and facts by the investigation of the Italian state television "Rai 3". This investigation in no case attacks Albania, but brings out the truth about the Government of Edi Rama, which has shown in these 11 years that it has strengthened organized crime and weakened the honest citizen.
