The American resolution that "burns" Edi Rama!
The US Congress "scorches" Rama

The US mentions Albania among the oppressive socialist regimes...

Edi Rama continues to receive less than positive messages from across the Atlantic. In addition to the fact that there has been no meeting in the US since Trump was elected President, their messages that they don't like the prime minister are coming and going.

Marco Rubio, in his congratulations on Albania's Independence, mentioned drug cartels, which had never happened before. However, his message is not the only one.

A few days ago, the US House of Representatives passed a resolution , which passed somewhat silently in our country. It is a resolution proposed by Maria Elvira Salazar , which in essence condemns socialism. But it also mentions our country.

The resolution describes some of the most brutal crimes committed by socialist regimes in the Soviet Union, China, Albania, Cambodia, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela, demonstrating that wherever socialism has taken root, the results have been the same: hunger, oppression, death, economic ruin, and the loss of human freedom. Its adoption was made in response to the election of Mamdam as mayor of New York, with the argument that socialism is not the answer.

But even though, to some extent, the resolution speaks of the socialist past, one of the congressmen has revealed an interesting detail: that it also hits current governments, including the Albanian one.

The Republican majority has crafted a weak scheme, a poorly written and poorly conceived resolution, so careless that it condemns socialism in all its forms, including democratically elected officials and governments. This includes important allies and friends of the United States that have major socialist political parties such as Albania, Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Luxembourg, Montenegro, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, and Sweden. With this resolution, House Republicans are sending a message to many people..., including many NATO members, that we condemn the policies and political processes within their nations. This resolution is an insult to them ,” said Betty McCollum .

McCollum's statement says it all: The Trump administration does not like socialist governments. Although Rama tries to sell his friendship with Kushner in public as a rapprochement with Republicans, the fact is clear, he is not achieving anything. On the contrary, the negative messages keep coming and increasing. /Pamphlet
