After the PISA reports on education, the deputy of the Democratic Party, Ina Zhupa, filed a request in the Assembly for an interpellation with the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu.

In her request, deputy Zhupa emphasizes that the focus of the interpellation will be the PISA report on education.

"The PISA test shows how capable the educational system of a country is to form the intellect and abilities of children in the subjects of Mathematics, Literature, Science. Albania is the country with the most drastic drop out of 80 countries, compared to the results of 2018, losing 96 points in mathematics, 47 points in literature, and 41 points in science" , says Zhupa.

Zhupa informs that Albania is among the last 15 of the list, while this result should be an alarm bell for the entire education system in the country with a chain effect.

She said that the purpose of the interview is to provide information and explanations regarding the measures taken to respond to the situation with the disastrous results in the Pisa test.
