The first preparations have started for the visit of the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who will visit Tirana on February 15.
On the external facade of the Polytechnic hangs a large banner with the photograph of the American secretary, on which it is written: "Welcome Mr. Blinken".
American flags have also been placed along the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard.
A few days ago, in a post on the Facebook social network, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that Blinken will find in Albania a steadfast ally of the United States.
In his agenda, Blinken has planned a meeting with the Prime Minister Edi Rama and the head of SPAK Altin Dumani.
"We will be in Albania from around 11:00 to around 07:00 or 08:00 in the evening. And this is really a stop that will focus on the future, the future of Albania, the future of the Western Balkans," declared former ambassador Yuri Kim, who will accompany Biden to Tirana.
