The member of the DP National Council, Roland Bejko, said that Sali Berisha is looking for a monist opposition.
According to him, enough time has been lost and now a great focus is needed on the reconstruction of a party for Albania. Bejko declared that they are also at war with the oligarchs.
"We completed the first phase in these two years, dictated not by us, but by objective circumstances that were not determined by us, because of the conflict that happened and everyone knows the history of this conflict. The idea is that the first phase of resistance, of preserving the Democratic Party, was closed. In addition to Berisha, who split the party into two parts, created a new party that keeps it nameless and does not accept a plural opposition, but wants a monist opposition with only him at the head, there are also the oligarchs we have fishes, who constantly work for to divide the Democratic Party and eliminate it", said Bejko for "Euronews".
Earlier, Bejko stated that PD will never remain hostage to Sali Berisha.
"As long as we are there as resistance, as a visionary, the PD will be there, it will not remain hostage to non-women, to anyone. With the assimilation of the PD, and its shift to the left, Albanian democracy has been damaged and it has been created as an image bad in Albanian offices and especially among Albanians", said Bejko.
We remind you that Roland Bjeko is one of the new vice-presidents of the Democratic Party approved by the leader of the DP Lulzim Basha at the meeting of the National Council.
