The 7th Summit of the European Political Community is taking place today in Copenhagen, Denmark, with the participation of leaders from 49 European countries, including Prime Minister Edi Rama and the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.
At the center of the discussions are Ukraine and security in Europe.
Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke briefly to reporters before the start of the summit. He spoke about Albania's EU integration process, saying that Albania is racing towards Brussels.
"We are not waiting, we are running very fast and we will be ready very soon. It is up to the great ones in the room to stop waiting, but to embrace us and take us in, because this will be a great and valued Europe," Rama said when asked about integration.
He was also asked about other issues, such as cyberattacks from Iran or Israel's detention of humanitarian aid ships heading to Gaza.
"We have been targeted, today we have the strongest cyber defense in Europe and we are still the target of the enemy called Iran. They are counterattacking all the time and they did not succeed in violating our security," said Rama.
