Summit in Tirana, Mitsotakis "threatens" Rama: I will ask Beler's oath

Present at the Berlin Process summit, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis did not forget to talk about the case of Fredi Beleri, elected mayor of Himara, but who has been behind bars since mid-May for buying and selling votes.

The head of the Greek government declared before the media that he will discuss with the Albanian prime minister about Fredi Beleri and added that he hopes that this issue will be resolved amicably.

"Yes, I will discuss with Prime Minister Rama the case of Fredi Beleri. Our position on this issue has been very clear, I do not intend to interfere in Albanian justice issues, but Fredi Beleri has the right to swear even though he is in custody and I will make this very clear. I really hope that we can resolve this issue amicably," said Mitsotakis.
