Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha declared that the statute is the one that will be followed for the election of the head of the DP. In a conversation with citizens on 'Facebook', answering their questions, Berisha underlined the importance of the statute. According to him, the analysis of the elections will be done on the basis of this statute, through the party's democratic processes.
"The DP's major problems were caused by the kicking of the statute. The new president of the DP will be elected through the statute. I am sworn and determined to implement the statute, which at all key moments gives power to the members of the DP. When I say the president of the DP loses the local elections, and I call it a loss, although the elections are what they are. The analysis of the elections will be done in accordance with the DP statute. Parallel to the re-dimensioning of freedom and law enforcement, Rama has initiated a process with his two hostages. He said that every democrat should contribute to the opening of the party.

As he stopped at the elections, he said that DP has indisputable facts that the votes were stolen.
"This process depends on procedures that are outside the powers of the DP. They are in the hands of the institutions. Your concern is valid. But there are stages that go through the CEC, KAS and the electoral court. There are many documents, which are in the archives of the CEC. They take time to prepare and give to the political forces. During this time in my communications with citizens and democrats, I find that in some cases I am suggested not to deal with this process.
