Following the expulsion of Ervin Salianj from branch no. 6 in Tirana, the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, has reacted.
According to him, Salinj no longer held the position of political leader, as he only held that position for campaigning.
" There was no political leader. The political leader in Tirana was Belind Këlliçi. Salianji was a delegate for the campaign. The campaign was interrupted and we withdrew the delegates for the campaign. But, as you know, Salianji, with the activity in Elbasan, carried out by Suel Çela, has self-excluded himself ," Noka told "EuronewsAlbania".
A little while ago it was announced that Salianji has left as political leader in Unit No. 6. This is a revenge by Berisha, as Salianji has started a tour of meetings at the grassroots and is seeking responsibility for the defeat on May 11th.
