Klodjan Braho is expected to officially take office as chief prosecutor of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) in a ceremony that, according to the law, is led by the High Prosecutorial Council (KLP). However, the ceremony has been postponed to Monday, as according to journalist Anila Hoxha, members of the KLP are currently on an official visit to Spain.
We recall that Braho was elected as the new Chief Prosecutor of SPAK on December 11, during the KLP meeting held in the presence of diplomatic missions. He was voted in with 7 votes in favor by the members of the Council, receiving the trust to lead the key institution in the fight against corruption and organized crime.
The swearing-in ceremony, which will take place on Monday, will officially mark the start of Braho's mandate as head of the Special Prosecution Office.
