Postponed the announcement of the results from the electronic counting, SP

It appears that the decision to postpone the publication of the results in Vora and Unit 10 is related to maintaining an electoral standard.

The Socialist Party attacks the Chief State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi. Through a statement from the SP headquarters, Helena Kaçe, considered the decision to postpone the publication of the results for Vora and Unit 10, where electronic vote counting was applied, illegal. In her accusations, the SP even goes so far as to accuse Celibashi of serving the opposition's electoral tactics with such a decision.

The Socialist Party has reacted to the CEC's decision to postpone the publication of the results of electronic voting in Vora and unit no. 10, describing it as an arbitrary decision.

Celibashi said that the decision was agreed upon with the political parties, but the Socialists, with the closing of the voting process, seem to disagree with postponing the publication of the results.

It seems that the decision to postpone the publication of the results in Vora and Unit 10 is related to maintaining an electoral standard, as the counting of ballot boxes in the CEAZs where they are being gathered is expected to start at midnight. However, the counting has started in Pustec in Korça District, and the votes of the Diaspora belonging to Korça District will also be counted.

"The failure to release the results of Vora and Unit 10 by the CEC, with an arbitrary decision that contradicts the logic of electronic voting, the tradition of immediately announcing the result, as well as the very reason for the significant investment that has been made in the electronic infrastructure, is an arbitrary, wrong and disappointing decision for the role of the CEC as a guarantor of the Sovereign People, and not of the tactical needs of political parties."

"We regret this and call on the Socialist Party of Vora as well as our supporters in Vora to maintain calm," a statement from the SP reads.

It is emphasized that the result is in the box and have no doubt that nothing and no one can change it. You are the first step towards a victory that will be unforgettable in the history of the Socialist Party.

“Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations!

"All socialists involved in the process throughout Albania must remain calm, avoid provocations, and patiently extract victory from the boxes where the Sovereign people have locked their historic decision," said Helena Kaçe.
