The former prime minister, Sali Berisha, this evening also went out to the balcony window and addressed his sympathizers who have gathered below the building with a speech.
Berisha addressed the sympathizers, saying that they are the symbol of hope that radiates in the four corners of the country.
He adds that their effort, the battle they have started is waking up the sleeping lions in the hearts of Albania's opponents every day.
" Good evening and the most heartfelt greetings, freedom fighters, missionaries in a great historical turning point for Albanian society, the Albanian nation and Albania. Brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen! Every night, you gather here and raise your powerful voice against this dictatorship, against this destructive occupation that has been established in Albania.
But I guarantee you that today you are the brightest symbol of hope for Albanians. That you are today, the symbol that radiates hope today in the four corners of the country. You are today the light that illuminates the path of the mind for every Albanian.
Your effort, the battle you started, wakes up the sleeping lion in the hearts of the democrats, in the hearts of the opposition of Albania. The light that you emit, the wind of hope and change, terrifies every day, hides Edi Rama, the crime alliance every day, and exposes all his ugliness in front of the Albanians.
My friends, a great American president, Abraham Lincoln, once said that one man can be the majority, so I guarantee you that you are the majority here today. You are the majority because your courage gives courage to all citizens. Because the hope you sow is vital for most Albanians. You are the majority because the majority never wants this invasion of the alliance of crime with power.
You are the majority because it takes a square to stand up for a just cause. We need a square to defend Albania, to defend the rights of Albanian citizens. We need a square to tell Albanians that Albania will never be without opposition. That Edi Rama's dream of an Albania without opposition will be crushed by you.
I have a call for all Albanian citizens: let's not forget that today from the depths of the land of this country, today the entire Albanian society rumbles a voice, rings a voice, rings a call, what are you doing for Albania? This call, which John Kennedy formulated so beautifully, is an eternal call for all citizens who see themselves in languishing, in suffering, in misery ," said Berisha.
