After the debates and tensions created in the Assembly by the expulsion of the Head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, the Speaker of the Assembly Niko Peleshi, at the request of the Head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, interrupted the discussions and put the agenda to a vote after the approval of Balla's proposal with 73 votes in favor.
According to the agenda and the relevant points, with a majority of votes, mainly 73 votes, all the points on the agenda were passed, both the report of the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination and the one on the Institute of Crimes of Communism. The draft law on waste management and treatment was also passed with a majority of votes.
The session then moved on to the next vote for the two Special Parliamentary Commissions for Territorial Reform and Electoral Reform. Initially, Peleshi announced that the Electoral Reform would be passed, but the opposition objected in the hall, as Balla intervened, who asked his colleagues for agreement.
He then asked Pelesh to postpone this agenda to the next session, on October 30, until an agreement was reached. Also on the issue of Territorial Reform, the opposition expressed its opposition. Balla took the floor and said that they would accept all the amendments that the DP had submitted to the Assembly on this issue and were ready to vote on them.
But the DP deputies also opposed this point, as Balla said that since the opposition was still not clear, this point should also be postponed to October 30, in the next session.
After going to the vote, with 73 votes against and 37 in favor of the opposition, the Special Parliamentary Committee on Electoral and Territorial Reform was adjourned.
