The situation in the Assembly has become tense following the decision of the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, to expel Gzament Bardhi. The latter has refused to leave the plenary hall, despite repeated requests, as a result, Peleshi again interrupted the proceedings for several minutes.
With the resumption of the session, the debates have resumed, as Bardhi has opposed the decision to expel him. Peleshi has decided to suspend the proceedings "until normality returns."
Speaker Peleshi, addressing Bardhi, emphasized that the normal development of the session was being hindered.
" Please sit down, Mr. Bardhi, because you are disrupting the session and not allowing the head of the independent institution to answer questions. I will not allow you to disrupt the session with questions, because the rules do not allow me to do so either. Mr. Bardhi, based on the rules, your right to speak is revoked for the entire day! For the fourth time, you are excluded, Mr. Bardhi ," Peleshi declared.
We recall that the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, has decided today to exclude the head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, from the plenary session.
The expulsion came after several warnings given by Pelesh, while Bardhi was involved in a clash during a speech by a head of the independent institution.
