"There is no hope for September", Kadilli: Berisha is mocking the

"There is no farce, but a loss of 300 thousand votes for the DP." This is what former DP MP Fatbardh Kadilli said while commenting on the May 11 elections.

Invited today on a television show, Kadilli stated that Berisha, by remaining at the head of the DP even after losing the elections, is hindering political rotation.

" This would be the result, there could be no other result than not accepting failure and responsibility in front of the Democrats, the opposition and all Albanians and they go around making jokes. But, the difference of 300 thousand votes is not justified and since they are aware that they cannot justify it, they are taking the time to postpone the first 2 months from May 1 and wait for September. What will these studies and researches do, they are mocking the people. Seeing the leader of the opposition who comes out as a legal expert and says this signature does not match that signature there. The boxes were opened and it turned out that we received double the votes that we should have received. Berisha with this party prevents political rotation so that we can have effective democracy .

He said that Berisha is no longer an alternative to Prime Minister Edi Rama. According to him, the DP should also conduct an analysis of why it lost the elections.

" I don't believe there will be any change in September because making changes means admitting that there are problems, when in fact the problem is themselves. Today in the winning DP, only 50 MPs feel like winners and the rest are losers. But Berisha is no longer an alternative to Rama. The DP lacks reason, the DP should ask themselves why we lost, why they lost in 2013 to Rama ," he said.

Kadilli expressed his determination to remain in politics, even if he is alone, emphasizing that changing the opposition is necessary to change power.

" I have the determination to stay in politics even when I am alone, not only when I see people like me trying to change the opposition. If the opposition does not change, the government does not change either. The government changes the opposition and for the opposition to change the government, it must first change itself. We need change ," he said.
