The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a conversation with followers on social media, has provided some details about the opposition's national protest that will be held tomorrow.
He said that the MPs will not be on the front lines, but will be distributed to the citizens of their areas, to help with organization and participation on the ground. Berisha explained that in recent days there has been intensive work to mobilize citizens and emphasized that the protest must be well structured, to ensure that the opposition's message reaches the citizens.
This decision was made as a tactic to increase coordination and avoid confusion during the rally.
Berisha also underlined the crucial role of local structures of the Democratic Party in organizing the protests.
"I think that the DP structures, today more than ever, must respond to their mission, as this mission is savior for Albania and the opposition is the only hope for this country. Secondly, sustainable and continuous protest is the only way to overthrow the regime," said Berisha.
The rally, which will start at 6:00 PM, follows the previous protest, which escalated with the throwing of Molotov cocktails at the villa of former dictator Enver Hoxha.
Meanwhile, through a message that the blue headquarters has distributed to the DP structures, it is learned that the rally will start in front of the Prime Minister's Office, but it remains unclear how it will continue, as the scenarios are not known.
"Dear democrats, Edi Rama is isolated internationally. In conflict with justice. Our resistance will not stop until he leaves, until there is a technical government and free elections. Our task is to overthrow him. Sunday, 6:00 PM - On the Boulevard," reads the message that has reached the DP structures.
We recall that in the previous protest there were no political speeches, nor a podium set up on the boulevard, but a march to several key points, such as the General Directorate of Police, Parliament, or the SP headquarters, which lasted for three hours.
