Sokol wants justice! In the name of life, but also in the name of many others
Lawyer Sokol Morning /

Life in Albania has turned into a daily and endless nightmare...

The event that shook Tirana this morning was doubly shocking. A lawyer, a man who lives his own life, who wakes up in the morning, takes the children to kindergarten and leaves for the office, is mercilessly hit on the head and body and a few hours later learns that he is also endangering his life. This happens in the middle of the day, in the middle of the city, with a man who is nobody, on the contrary, he is a lawyer, he is a lecturer and he is well known.

This is an even more shocking event because I know what it means to have two anonymous people cross your path in the middle of the day and beat you mercilessly. I know it all means vacillating between endless questions, whys, hopes and promises that the perpetrators will be caught and put behind bars.

I was lucky and escaped an assassination attempt similar to what was done to Sokol Mngjesi today. I pray that he will soon overcome the danger and return to the life of his family.

But this reality must end!

This uncertainty about life in Albania must be uprooted.

We are in Europe and we like to behave like Europeans, but Albania has reached the bottom. When you leave for work, they cut you off, hit you, injure you, throw you away like a thing; you go out with the family, but you can be the target of a blind bullet, headed for someone or somewhere else; criticize the unjust, threaten you; exposes crime/theft beat to death; you do not accept to become part of corruption, to be left without work and without bread.

Life in Albania has turned into a daily and endless nightmare. Therefore this must end.

Sokol Mêngjesi was hit in the head and body and is currently in a difficult condition. I pray that he quickly overcomes this difficult situation and returns to the life of the family that is waiting for him. But I also pray that justice will stop, quickly find the perpetrators and take them to where they belong.

I strongly hope that the case of Sokol Mngjesi will not be forgotten like mine and many others who have had the same fate. Because in a country like Albania, where evil has taken root, this is exactly what happens: it is quickly forgotten. The victim, the righteous, the one who fights for justice is forgotten, and the event returns to attention only when an application is analyzed that reveals the crime and its leaders, the perpetrators of that assassination in the middle of the day that targeted a man, a professional, a father, a husband , who was on his way to work, but some criminals, at someone's expense, cut his way and cut him to pieces with irons./ Pamphlet
