Bardhi and Berisha MPs do not give up on the scenario of chaos.
After almost two years, the Electoral Reform Commission will be reconvened, which is co-chaired by Damian Gjiknuri from the Socialist Party and Enkelejd Alibeaj from the Democratic Party.
But the group of MPs of Gazment Bardhi and Sali Berisha have followed the scenario of chaos by blocking the hall.
Democratic deputy Albana Vokshi has taken the place of co-chairman of the Commission together with Lindita Metaliajn.
The list of members of this commission from the majority consists of Blerina Gjylameti, Klotilda Bushka, Toni Gogu, Ermonela Felaj, Arben Pëllumbi, Blendi Klosi and Klevis Xhoxhi.
Meanwhile, the members of the Democratic Party have been elected Oerd Bylykbashi, Dashnor Sula, Kreshnik Çollaku, Lindita Metaliaj, Seladin Jakupllari, Ervin Salianji, Eralda Bano.
The meeting of this Commission comes after the meetings that took place with the OSCE representatives in our country.
OSCE/ODIHR has emphasized its readiness to assist a comprehensive electoral reform.
The message was also conveyed by the head of the OSCE mission (January 17) through a post on social networks, after completing the cycle of meetings with the co-chairs of the electoral reform, Damian Gjiknuri and Enkelejd Alibeaj, and with Gazment Bardhi.
The OSCE called on all deputies in the Parliament of Albania to normalize the parliamentary process. The representatives of the OSCE in Tirana also inform that they are devoting themselves to the maximum in the Electoral Reform.
"We value our partnership with the Parliament of Albania. We call on all MPs to contribute to a smooth and functional parliamentary process. Unhindered work and constructive dialogue in committees are essential. Our commitment to comprehensive and timely electoral reform remains strong. The positive engagement of all is crucial to succeed!", the OSCE statement said.
We remind you that today Gazmend Bardhi has gathered since 10:00 the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, which includes the MPs who support Bardhi and Berisha.
It is learned that in the meeting the opposition MPs have decided to block the meeting of the Special Electoral Reform Commission, a situation that was warned earlier by the Berisha MPs.
We remind you that the Bardhi-Berisha group of deputies have been in action since October last year and have not allowed the normal development of plenary sessions and parliamentary committees.
