The Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, said that "Narkoregjimi" carried out a conspiracy against free elections.
Blushi has described May 11 as electoral terrorism, as the citizens' votes were alienated and manipulated. He also said that state institutions that should have guaranteed the integrity of the process, from the government, the CEC, the Prosecutor's Office and SPAK, remained silent about the crime that dictated the predetermined results.
Blushi also said that SPAK allowed representatives of the most dangerous criminal groups to steal the elections, by deliberately postponing the execution of arrest warrants until after May 11.
"Free and fair elections in Albania fell victim to a well-organized conspiracy by the Narcoregime."
May 11 is not simply manipulation or alienation of the will of citizens, but an act of electoral terrorism against the vote of freedom, elections, democracy and the rule of law.
This structured, well-coordinated and protected electoral terrorism is proven by the fact that the very state institutions that were supposed to guarantee the integrity of the process, the Government, the CEC, the Prosecutor's Office, SPAK and even the intelligence services, either cooperated or remained silent in the face of the criminal mechanisms that dictated the outcome pre-determined on the table by Edi Rama.
This criminal operation against free voting led by the Narco-government, in collaboration with criminal gangs that were reactivated as electoral instruments, to intimidate, threaten and buy votes, undermined election standards.
The prosecution and the SPAK "Task Force" did not lift a finger to prevent electoral terrorism in time, as in the flagrant case of Vora, where polling stations were not only taken hostage by gangs but also where opposition leaders were threatened with death by them in front of the media and no one reacted.
While criminals ruled the electoral terrain, oppositionists and citizens who denounced crime were left at the mercy of fate by the Narcopolice, which openly collaborated with them in the function of unmasked vote-stealing throughout Albania.
SPAK allowed representatives of the most dangerous criminal groups, as in the case of Durrës, to steal the elections, by deliberately postponing the execution of arrest warrants, even those that were debunked and without effective results, until after May 11.
The Narcoregime's electoral terrorism is not just an attack on the opposition, but an act of violence against every citizen who seeks to choose freely, an attack on the very hope of living in a democratic country.
Until May 11, there was not an election campaign, but a campaign of political terror.
This was not a democratic contest, but a criminal operation by the Narco-State against the free vote.
These were not elections, but electoral terrorism directed by a regime that rules not on the basis of law and the constitution, but through fear, pressure, terror, and crime.
The narco-regime's plot is clear. Its goal is to permanently eliminate free elections, to transform them into formal votes with predetermined results.
For the Freedom Party, these elections do not represent the will of the citizens and this process is morally, politically and legally invalid.
We demand a full and transparent investigation and punishment of every criminal act that occurred during the elections - from the involvement of gangs, to the inaction of the state and the selectivity of the justice system that, while kidnapping and politically isolating opposition leaders, without facts or criminal evidence, exposes and protects the bandits, collaborating with them in order to steal the elections.
The electoral terrorism of May 11 will not go unpunished.
The opposition Freedom Party's battle will continue with determination against this misgovernment, which has today ranked Albania the most corrupt and poorest country in Europe.
"No one will be able to stop Ilir Meta and the Freedom Party in their mission to protect the national interest, to strengthen democracy and the rule of law, in defense of the free vote, free and fair elections and the major causes for which we have fought and will always fight ," said Blushi.
