Former Democratic Party MP, Dashnor Sula, has commented on the race for Tirana Mayor and the opposition candidate.
Sula openly challenged the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, asking him to field the party's number 2, Flamur Noka or Albana Vokshi. Sula emphasized that if this happens, he himself will go door to door to collect votes for the DP.
"I challenge Sali Berisha to choose candidate Flamur Noka or Albana Vokshi. I will personally go door to door, alley to alley, together with my people to collect votes for the DP and Noka."
If Noka or Vokshi receive a significant percentage of the votes, I will shut up about the DP and say 'forgive me Sali Berisha because you are right and I am guilty, as are the simple democrats'.
"Because the number 2 of the DP and the highest figures decide the fate of the Democrats... they are honorable people and worthy of facing the majority," Sula said for "TCH".
