Democratic Party MP, Gjin Gjoni, revealed what the MEPs have asked the DP. Gjoni said that the MEPs asked the opposition not to leave the Assembly.
He also stressed that MEPs were asked not to hold violent protests, which according to Gjoni is a double standard considering how protests are held in Paris, Brussels and Greece.
"Since the opposition entered Parliament, a maximum of 3 sessions have been held normally. Two issues are essential for the opposition today: Territorial Reform and Electoral Reform. These should take priority because everything starts from free and fair elections. Now, on the one hand, internationals say that violent protests are not needed and the MEPs' request is: do not leave Parliament! This is what they are insisting on from the opposition. So, they say "come on, make a facade", declared Gjoni. All European politicians, the events that are happening in Paris, Brussels and Greece, where roads are burned and blocked, do not say why you are protesting like this. In Albania, a double standard is used and this is not normal" , Gjoni told "A2CNN"
