Democratic leader Sali Berisha has called on Albanians to participate in the February 20 protest, which he said will fulfill the mission of the Democrats and all citizens who are in opposition to Edi Rama's regime.
Evaluating the protests held so far as the most important ever held, Berisha said that they have saved the nation's face.
" If there have ever been protests to save the face of this nation, if there have ever been protests to protect the dignity of this nation, it has been the protests we have held in recent weeks."
The right is with us. Albanians in Albania and everywhere expect the democrats to fulfill their mission. They expect the opposition to fulfill their mission. But also the free people around the world, for whom there is no legitimate government without a free vote, for whom there is no legitimate government when it protects corruption, are with us and expect our victory. Therefore, I invite you to continue this battle, to continue our mission, having the full awareness that it is the most important mission of our lives.
"That it is the mission of rescuing Albania ," Berisha said.
