SPAK to intervene: Evis Kushi abuses his position, threatens independent
Evis Khushi /

If Kushi, Gjergj Luca or Anila Basha don't like the candidates for head of RTSH, then they can channel their boredom into making live videos of the circus that Edi Rama gave Luci in Labinot Fushë, but not threaten an independent institution...

A scandal erupted today when former Minister of Education Evis Kushi, MP for Elbasan, threatened members of the RTSH Steering Council after they voted yesterday for candidates for the institution's general director.

A statement that constitutes a pure criminal offense, which if there really was a normal state, would arrest him on the spot.

The members of the RTSH Steering Council are elected by Parliament in a regular manner, while they are intellectuals and well-known names in their fields.

Evis Kushi, who seems to have become a tool of Gjergj Luca, who and Anila Basha were blackened because Eni Vasili was disqualified, has threatened without batting an eyelash that "Parliament can take control of the situation at RTSH."

That Parliament that Evis Kushe says is neither her home, nor Luca's fish restaurant, where Evis can do whatever she wants.

Parliament has no authority to deal with RTSH, except to elect, through a specific procedure and defined by law, the members of the Steering Council. Who decide and elect without asking either Evis Kushi, Ina Zhupa, or Gjergj Luca or Anila Basha.

Parliament has no way of reversing the decision of the RTSH Steering Council, and if it does, it would be nothing more than a coup d'état.

If the Parliament, or its individual deputies, interfere or threaten independent institutions, they abuse their office and undermine the constitutional order. It has never happened to date that a deputy threatens an independent board, whose members are elected by the Parliament of the Republic. If they do not like the decisions, they should simply express their annoyance, but not threaten to return the matter to the Assembly.

The RTSH Steering Council has voted sovereignly to disqualify Eni Vasili and the others, sending two candidates for RTSH Director General to the finals.

If Kushi, Gjergj Luca or Anila Basha don't like it, then they can turn their annoyance into making live videos in the circus that Edi Rama gave Luca in Labinot Fushë, but not to threaten an independent institution.

In a normal situation, Kushi should have been summoned today by the Special Prosecution Office for the criminal offense of abuse of office./ Pamphlet
