In the session of September 12, the Parliament will consider the decision of the Constitutional Court for the mandate of MP Olta Xhaçka.
The deputy of the Democratic Party, Dhurata Çupi, said that the decisions of the Constitutional Court cannot be undone. She added that the SP has no defense argument left against Olta Xhaçka.
Çupi said that SP member Vullnet Sina has also benefited from millions of lek from the state budget and that his mandate should be removed. According to her, the opposition has strongly denounced major corruption in governance.
"The assembly voted in favor of reviewing Xhaçka's mandate in the session of September 12. In a democratic country, the decisions of the Constitution cannot be undone. The SP no longer has any defense arguments against Xhačka. We have consistently denounced the government's corruption and arrogance. The majority as a whole covers evil with greater evil. Even Vullnet Sina has benefited millions from the public budget. It is unimaginable for SP deputies to misuse their duties.
There are reports from Transparency International that Vullnet Sinaj has influenced the passage of several laws. We took Xhaçka to the Constitutional Court twice. We cannot be silent about things that are not going well, that are against the Constitution of the country. As for SPAK, we think that it was wrong with Mr. Sali Berisha, hitting the leader of the opposition, but we support the work of justice, since 26 mayors are under investigation", MP Çupi told "News 24".
