Tom Doshi joins the votes with Basha and Berisha, the budget for Malesia e Madhe is blocked

The Social Democrats of Tom Doshi have joined the votes with the opposition, the official PD and Reestablishment and have defeated the passage of the 2024 budget in Malesia e Madhe.

In the meeting held on Monday afternoon, where 27 councilors were present, there were 14 votes in favor and 13 against the budget.

16 votes are needed for the budget to pass, i.e. qualified majority.

Meanwhile, 4 councilors did not participate in the most important meeting.

The leasing of a forest area in the area of ​​Kozhnje in Kelmend was also not approved by a majority of votes.

The meeting was accompanied by debates, while the mayor Tonin Marinaj was also present.

For months, since the local elections, PSD came out in opposition with the attitudes towards the municipality of Malësi e Madhe and the mayor Marinaj, where he has had frequent denunciations and criticisms.

Today's vote strengthened the position held by this political force that was on the side of the SP in the elections. / Vision Plus
