The General Secretary of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, has today denounced the plan to demolish two buildings in the area of Krraba.
Blushi said that the earthquake was used for such a plan after they were declared uninhabitable, while 25 families risk being left in the open.
He called on SPAK and the courts to suspend the demolition and initiate a criminal investigation into the matter.

The Freedom Party condemns with the greatest severity the continuation of serious criminal and terrorist acts of the Municipality of Tirana for the destruction and forcible seizure of citizens' legal property.
Under the pretext of damages from the tragic earthquake of November 26, 2019, Erion Veliaj has recently targeted for the demolition of two buildings in the Kërrabë Administrative Unit, bringing out into the open 25 families, who now do not know where to put their heads and for which they are not there is no decision-making for compensation or the granting of rent vouchers by the Municipality.
Their apartments have been deemed dangerous to live in and will be demolished, with a dubious and not at all transparent decision-making by the Municipality of Tirana, which was recalled after five years of undertaking such a criminal act.
The scandal deepens even more referring to the fact that the experts paid by the Municipality of Tirana for the verification of the damages of these two palaces turn out to be manipulated.
The Freedom Party has been recognized by the residents themselves with this fact.
Specifically, according to the expertise drawn up by the Municipality of Tirana, for building No. 8, Zall Street, Kërrabë Administrative Unit, it is claimed after the alleged on-site verification that "the building is almost uninhabitable and categorized for demolition". The same result in the non-real expertise made by the Municipality of Tirana for building No. 12, for which demolition is also recommended.
Meanwhile, the expertise made by the residents themselves with private and independent experts shows the buildings with repairable, livable damage and does not categorize them for demolition.
Specifically, independent experts after verifying the damages in their documents for building No. 8 and building No. 12 in Kërrabë recommend "strengthening the structure, but not demolishing it".
The scandal deepens even more when the residents themselves publicly assert that no expert from the Municipality of Tirana or the Kërrabë Administrative Unit has carried out even a single on-site verification of their buildings or apartments. In addition, these buildings are owned by the state company "Alb Miniera" and the Municipality of Tirana has never been in front of these residents to listen to their problems or to solve any problems.
Acquainted with these shocking truths, manipulated expertise and criminal acts to demolish and seize the legal properties of 25 families who are at risk of being left in the open, we call on SPAK and the courts to immediately suspend any demolition proceedings and start an in-depth criminal investigation.
These are other irrefutable proofs that prove the illegality of Erion Veliaj's barbaric acts against the legal property of citizens, supposedly for public interest, when in fact the mafia scheme widely used in Tirana is universally known, when citizens' properties and lands are stolen and given to the concrete mafia, this is co-owned by Erion Veliaj and Edi Rama
Turning citizens' homes into dust and ashes has only one goal: grabbing the property of vulnerable citizens to give it to the oligarchs for the construction of multi-story towers!
It is time for SPAK to stop turning a blind eye to this flagrant illegality, act urgently and take legal responsibility: Who ordered the demolition of citizens' properties?
The Freedom Party invites all the citizens whose houses the Municipality of Tirana wants to demolish, to resist in a democratic way, to follow the legal path and the example of the residents at Rr. "Mylsym Keta", that the court gave them the right, not allowing illegality to destroy and steal their legal properties.
The Freedom Party guarantees all citizens in Tirana and throughout the country that it will always be by their side for the protection at any cost of their freedoms, rights, human dignity and their legal properties.
