Today, around 11:00 am, the special plane of the American State Department, with which Secretary Antony Blinken is traveling to Albania, is expected to touch Albanian soil.
DASH has requested that the reception ceremony be as minimal as possible.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani will be the one who will welcome him.
Together with the minister will be the ambassador of Albania in the USA, Ervin Bushati, together with the US envoy in Tirana, David Wisner.
On the red carpet will also be lined up several American marines who serve at the American embassy in Tirana.
Under strong security measures, Secretary Blinken will go to Tirana in this intensive 8-hour visit to Tirana.
The visit will focus on the future of Albania and the Western Balkans, while in a statement shared by DASH on relations with Albania, it is said that the two countries are partners in the fight against corruption and organized crime.
