The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Igli Hasani, evaluated the relations between the USA and our country, while highlighting a relief for Albanian citizens.
Invited to the "Real Story" show, Hasani emphasized that previously if citizens' passports expired in the last six months, they could not apply for a visa in the USA, but now this obstacle has been removed, Hasani added.
"The Albanian passport has entered the so-called six-month club. A little while ago, we had to have passports that did not expire for the next six months in order to get a visa, and Albanian citizens have the opportunity to use their passport until they enter to get visas, to move, etc. Hassan said.
When asked how Minister Hasani experienced the visit of the American Secretary of State on a personal level, he stated that he did not think that the day would come when he would meet and accompany such a personage.
" I remember being a teenager, when James Baker visited Tirana. I was in the square and I never thought that the day would come when I would welcome the American Secretary of State to Tirana and see him off ," he added.
