Reporter: Information has emerged about a serious security threat from Russia, while a response from the US is being sought. How do you consider the urgency of this threat, and what is the day-to-day that the US has to face?
Secretary Blinken: This is not an active capability but it is something potential that we are taking very, very seriously. We will talk very soon. Stay ready. We are discussing this with allies and partners. President Biden's focus is the security of the US and the US people.
As for the hostages in Gaza, as you know we have given a proposal that summarizes what Qatar-Egypt-Israel has proposed. It is something that we believe there are some things that have not yet been approved but the opportunity is offered to work on an agreement. We are working hard to find an agreement, and I believe that this is possible. But there are some very difficult issues that need to be resolved. We are committed to reaching an agreement.
