
On the Electronic Registration Platform (PER), from January 11 to today, 211,016 Albanian citizens have registered to participate in the parliamentary elections of May 11.
These are the latest figures made public by the Central Election Commission as of 10:56 today, while the application will be open until March 4.
According to CEC data, 169,502 requests were approved and 38,593 were rejected.
Also, 261,741 have applied for registration, 258,769 applications have been reviewed, 89,267 have been rejected and 2,920 are under review.
The registration requests come from various countries around the world. The highest number of requests was registered by Italy with 102,255, followed by Greece with 74,609, Germany with 27,808, as well as the USA with 17,788 and the UK with 15,284.
As for requests by region, the highest number of applications is for the Tirana region with 51,485, followed by the Fier regions with 34,220 requests, Elbasan with 28,671, Durrës with 27,909, Korçë with 23,642, etc.
By gender, the highest percentage of registrants is male, with 154,017 requests, while females are 107,724.

The process for registering on the Electronic Voter Platform (PER) began on January 11 and will last until March 4.
