Prime Minister Edi Rama continued his speech in the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, as he focused on developments in the Middle East and Albania's position regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict.
During his speech, Rama stated that he is the second leader after US President Donald Trump to deliver a speech in the Knesset, describing this as a special moment for Albania.
In his statements, Rama stated that responsibility for the violence lies with Hamas.
"The executioner is Hamas and no one else," said Rama, describing the organization as the bearer of an ideology of terror, which according to him acts against both the Palestinians and the Jewish people.
Rama emphasized that Hamas' ideology represents a totalitarian dogma and that, according to him, without the complete disarmament and dismantling of this organization, there cannot be lasting peace in the region.
"Until Hamas is disarmed and dismantled, no peace will last and cannot be achieved," he said.
