The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, spoke today regarding the case of "News 24" and the occupation of buildings by the "KAYO" company.
Boçi described the situation as absurd, as according to him we are dealing with a state crime in the face of a free media and free journalists.
The Democratic MP demands that SPAK act in the face of this situation, initially with verification actions and then with penalizing acts. He writes that journalists should receive all their means and that the Court has decided that News24 will continue to broadcast on its premises.
"The situation is absurd. This situation proves that we are facing a crime scene, those who commit the crime are never journalists or News24, but the one who is committing the crime today."
Where is the one who claims to have taken up the banner of justice? Why doesn't the famous SPAK act in the face of a state crime against a free media, against free journalists, as is claimed, despite the fact that the US State Department has shown in its report that Rama has closed down every free form of media.
"SPAK should have taken a verification step, then penalizing. This is a crime, it is a violation of the law. Who establishes justice in a country? So the Court has given justice, journalists should receive all their means and the Court has decided that News24 should continue broadcasting in its premises. Both buildings belong to News24, buildings put in service of a public good ," said Boçi.
