The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, voted in the Durrës detention center in the framework of the May 11 parliamentary elections.
He voted at the time set by the institution's administration, in accordance with the rules and procedures for voting by persons in detention.
A few days ago, the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, called on citizens to vote for the Socialist Party. Imprisoned without trial, Veliaj asked citizens that when they go to vote, they should remember a little about what Tirana was like and what it is like today.
He underlined that the vote on May 11 should not be a vote against Saliu or the parties that emerged from the womb of the DP, but a vote for work, for hope, for transformation. “Your vote should be a vote for the present that makes us proud and the European future that we deserve.”
He closed his status with an invitation to vote this Sunday for the Socialist Party and Edi Rama so that Albania can continue to move forward.
