The chairman of the PDIU, Shpëtim Idrizi, voted at kindergarten no. 54 in Tirana together with his family. After voting, Shpëtim Idrizi said that today the citizens will determine their future for the next four years.
"Today is the day of ordinary citizens, who with their vote and free will determine their future for the next four years," he said.
The leader of the PDIU called for massive and peaceful participation, while stating that today is the day that citizens have power.
"I wish this to be a calm, peaceful and dignified day for every Albanian, a day of hope for a country that has the potential and people to become a developed and democratic country. Today, citizens have the power. And their vote is the best way to show care and responsibility towards the future of Albania," said Idrizi.
