As item 18 on the agenda of the plenary session in parliament on Thursday, the voting of 6 candidates who met the requirements for the People's Advocate is foreseen.
The withdrawal of support signatures for candidates by DP MPs was not accepted by the Parliamentary Laws Committee on Tuesday.
Among the six candidates is Endri Shabani, who is considered the favorite candidacy of the socialists, who carried out a perfect scheme, withdrawing from the signature support of the candidates. They allowed the advancement of the signature support to the DP parliamentary group, where among the six candidates is also their favorite, Mr. Shabani.
Under these conditions, the signatures were given to the DP and through a secret ballot, it is expected that the Socialists will vote for it by secret ballot.
If we look at the list of support signatures from the opposition for Endri Shabani, we are not simply dealing with new or second-rate MPs from the DP parliamentary group.
There are well-known names from the opposition such as Ina Zhupa, Agron Gjekmarkaj, Tritan Shehu, Luan Baci, Bujar Leskaj, Oerd Bylykbashi and Jorida Tabaku who signed the pro-Endri Shabani petition.
When the DP parliamentary group encountered socialist opposition to the "Gaz Bardhi formula" and when the panorama became clear that the socialists were advancing with the candidacy of Endi Shabani, the Democrats tried unsuccessfully to introduce a march after the process.
They were not successful in collecting signatures. And to avoid a possible secret vote in the direction of Endri Shabani on Thursday in Parliament, Berisha showed the solution to save the day. Not to participate in the voting by the DP parliamentary group. On the other hand, the possibility of not casting the secret vote by certain SP deputies is not excluded.
However, the compensation for these votes towards the necessary 84 could come from "Nisma" MPs, Agron Shehaj and Erald Kapri, who have signed their signatures in support of Endri Shabani, including one of the opposition signatories, agrarian Artan Luku from Agron Duka's party./ TCH
