Democratic MP Ina Zhupa in the interpellation with the Minister of Tourism Mirela Kumbaro stated that she will call the latter the Minister of Construction because her only concern is the construction in the protected areas.
She said that a person who cuts forests is called a criminal and is punished, while a person who exterminates protected areas is called a strategic investor.
Zhupa demands answers from the minister for a series of questions, including why he thinks that Albania has no benefits if it is profiled in natural tourism.
""Ms. Kumbaro has a precedent. I remember the small dot, he removed it. You will make Albania full of concrete drops. I will address you, the Minister of Construction, because your concern is where to build resorts, 5-star hotels, villas of oligarchs with demek that serve tourism. How does concrete serve the environment, cutting questions, destroying lagoons, flora and fauna does not serve the environment.
Why is a man who cuts down forests and one who kills animals punished, while one who cuts down thousands of forests is called a strategic investor, or because the first one has no money while the second one has and shares it with you.
How is it possible that you, as a minister, think that Albania has no benefits if it is profiled in natural tourism, why do you think it is that of resorts in protected areas? Why should the state forgive protected areas? Clarify these questions for me", said Zhupa.
