The Special Envoy of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, reacted again to the Serb attacks in the north of Kosovo.
He says that in the coming days he will work on finding a way forward, without mentioning at all Vucic's accusations against Kosovo, even though it was the Serbs who attacked the Kosovo forces.
"Such a cowardly act of violence is deeply disturbing and goes against the very principles of peace and cooperation. My heart goes out to the victims, their families, friends and colleagues. Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, reacted strongly to the EU Representative, Josep Borrell, for his statement regarding the armed attack on the police in the north of the country, where 1 policeman was killed and 2 others were injured. .
In a post he made on Twitter, Gërvalla said that none of Borrell's words were in support of the Kosovo Police or against terrorists.
She called this reaction shameful, while asking how "can the members of the EU tolerate this cynicism?".
“Mr Borrell, really? Terrorists kill the police - and you call "all actors"? No word of support for the police? Not even against terrorists? Did you also refer to the terrorist attacks in Spain as "hostile"? What a shame. How can EU members tolerate this cynicism?" she wrote.
